Rachel Griffiths

Rachel came to Perception Planning in 2018 after working in environmental services for local government for 13 years. She has a Bachelor of Science in plant biology and ecology, and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. She now specialises in environmental education, rural landowner engagement, and a range of biodiversity issues including: freshwater aquatic biodiversity and water quality monitoring; citizen science; ecological restoration; science communication; water quality and waste minimisation

Rachel develops and delivers freshwater citizen science programmes, inspiring rural and urban communities to weave environmental sustainability into their everyday lives. She provides land management advice and practical options for implementing riparian and wetland restoration. She enjoys supporting environmental community groups to implement and monitor biodiversity restoration projects.
