Sheryl Miller

Dr Sheryl Miller has a background in marine botany/ecology, with past research in aquaculture, marine biosecurity, mātauranga Māori and macroalgal physiology. She has been involved in freshwater research and science communication for the last decade including supporting community monitoring of estuaries, rivers and streams. She is currently involved in Greater Wellington Regional Council’s Whaitua process which is allowing greater Wellington communities to recommend how their land and water are managed in the future. She has a huge enthusiasm for supporting citizen science initiatives, and loves nothing more than being outdoors helping communities monitor the streams.
